The boy's trip to the butcher (not barber shop)!

So, last Saturday we decided to walk to our local bakery for a very healthy doughnut breakfast. All of the boys and Duncan were in dire need of haircuts, and there just so happened to be a barber shop next door to the bakery. So, Duncan decided to be the guinea pig and go first. Mr. W, the elderly barber, did a great job on Dunc's hair so I thought that it would be okay for the boys to go ahead and get theirs cut also. Well, it started with Tristan, and his looked good also. But, with each successive cut, Mr. W. got worse and worse. Aidan was next (short), then Davis (he butchered my babies' long straight bowl cut which I loved, and turned it into a buzz cut pretty much), and poor Gray went last. Gray's hair hasn't been this short since he was in elementary school! Anyway, I was horrified, shed a few tears over Davis's hair, and complained about the cuts the rest of the day. We definitely won't be going back to see Mr. W. Duncan's summary of the visit - It's just hair, it will grow back! That afternoon, we ended our Saturday with some sprinkler time fun. It's just so hot outside - anyway to keep them cool.
